Two airmen stationed at Malmstrom Air Force Base in Great Falls were seriously injured in a rollover accident just outside of Conrad on Thursday evening. According to an Air Force spokesman a security patrol consisting of four men were on patrol when their vehicle broke down. They called back to the base for assistance. Two airmen were sent to pick up the security team. On the way back to the facility, the vehicle was involved in a rollover accident on Pendroy Rd. The vehicle rolled several times. Four airmen were treated and released from the PMC. One airman was seriously injured and flown by Medi-Vac Flight to Seattle for treatment and the other was taken to Benefis. A report on Monday had the airman in Seattle as being in stable condition and the other at Benefis as recovering nicely. The accident is under investigation by both the Air Force and MHP.
