The Conrad Wrestling Club and the Lions Club sponsor the event.
Proceeds from the Smoker go towards helping area athletes. In addition, each boxer that steps into the ring receives $50 in their name to be given to their chosen charity or organization.
This year there were 15 bouts with boxers coming from Fairfield, Choteau, and Great Falls to compete.
Jim Sargent once again did duty as the ring announcer. The Judges were Scott Arvidson, Emily Bouma from Choteau and Ken McDermott of Fairfield. The referee was Bobby Lecoure.
Boxers taking the ring for Conrad included Alexis Samsal, Katie Dulmage, Jake Stuart, Shane Rauscher, Brandon Phillips, Dallas Johnston, Norman Vanderbush, Logan Erickson, Austin Breding, Paul O’Brien, Aaron Lehnerz and Boyd Matheson.
Ring girls this year included Kelsey Zomer, Jerrica Harris, Kaycee Suta, Katie Schlepp and Lisa Ellis.
