    It’s beginning to look at lot like Christmas. The Conrad Chamber of Commerce invites you to join them for an evening of holiday excite­ment.
    The Christmas Stroll, planned for Friday, Nov. 30, is a unique time of community and fun. Conrad comes alive each holiday season with a celebration adorned with both tradition and attractions for both young and young at heart alike.
    A special annual attraction that always proves to be a joyous expe­rience is the opening ceremony that will begin at 6 p.m. on the court­house steps with the Invocation being delivered by Pastor Reese VanderVeen.
    You will feel the spirit of the season as Shannalee Finlayson and Katey VanderVeen delight you with Christmas songs.
    The winner of the third grade essay contest will once again this year assist Santa in the lighting of the Christmas tree. The winning ticket of the Chamber of Com­merce raffle will also be drawn before everyone heads on down to Stockman Bank where Santa will be patiently waiting for the young­sters to share with him their Christmas wishes.
    As you stroll from business to business you will be welcomed with something special including the following:
    9 a.m. to 8 p.m., yummy Christmas cookies and yummier Christmas sales At Home Furni­ture.
    9 a.m. to 9 p.m., sample deli­cious desserts and new party foods at Country Charm.
    10 a.m. until 8 p.m., 10% off sale at Hidden Treasures.
    4 p.m. until 9 p.m., Vendors and crafters, the Pondera Village Shop­ping Center and Moose Lodge.
    5 p.m. until gone, FREE chili and cinnamon rolls at Home Café with Food Pantry donation.
    5 p.m. until gone, hot dog and Polish chili bar, complementary coffee at The Lobby.
    5 p.m. until 7 p.m., carnival at Meadowlark gym.
    6 p.m. until 6:30 p.m., Christ­mas Stroll opening ceremony, Pon­dera County Courthouse.
    6 p.m. until 8 p.m., blood pres­sure and blood sugar screening at Olson’s Drug.
    6 p.m. until 9 p.m.,  Living History Stroll, Conrad Transporta­tion and Historical Museum/gift shop open.
    6:30 p.m. until 8:30 p.m., Santa Claus and goodies, Stockman Bank.
    6:30 p.m. until 8:30 p.m., hot chocolate and goodies at Wells Fargo; Lions Club cooking Whoop-Up burgers at Pure Bliss Cycles; hot apple cider and live music en­tertainment at library; scrumptious holiday goodies and specials at the N’Thing; delicious sampler platters at Gary and Leo’s Fresh Foods.
    7 p.m. until 9 p.m., coffee and cookies along with holiday specials at Village Drug.
    8 p.m. until 9:30 p.m., live Christmas tree and wreath auction at Courtesy Ford.
    From old-fashioned hayrides carting folks around town to roasted chestnuts on Main Street, you will find something to tickle your holiday fancy. However you celebrate this holiday season, the Chamber of Commerce hopes you will enjoy this time and do what you can to make it a celebration of family, friends and community.
