Conrad has 34 at state meet; Barringer sets record |

Conrad was one of six teams in the Class A division.
A highlight for the Conrad team was Makayla Barringer who won high point honors. As a side note, she won high point honors in every meet of the season, except for the Shelby meet, which she did not attend.
Melissa Barringer set a pool record in the 100m breast stroke, clocking in at 1:22.24. The old record was 1:23.26 set in 1996.
Overall team standings for Conrad went like this: Malta, Sidney, Lewistown, Chinook, Bitterroot swim team, Glasgow, Columbia Falls, Fort Benton, Shelby, Plentywood, and Conrad.
Individual results of the Conrad swimmers went like this:
BANTAMS
Dania Jones 100 IM -3rd, 50 free-5th, 25- fly-10th; Andrea Russell 25 free-3rd, 25 back-2nd, 25 fly-6th; Sheridan Johnson 25 back-12th.
For the 100m Free relay, the team of Russell, Johnson, Maggie Baldwin and Jones placed sixth. The 100m Free relay team of Russell, Johnson, Baldwin and Jones also placed sixth.
MIDGETS
Krista Judisch 100 IM-12th, 50 back-12th; Talia Stephens 50 free-7th, 50 back-6th, 100m-7th; Nolan Dugan 50 back-9th.
JUNIORS
Makayla Barringer 200 IM-1st; 50 back-1st, 50 fly-2nd; Jayde Richardson 50 free-3rd, 50 breast-8th, 100 free-3rd; Lacey Jones 50 breast-12th; Hayley Orcutt 100 free-12th.
The 200m Free relay team of Richardson, Orcutt, Taryn Erickson and Barringer placed second. The 200m Medley relay squad of Barringer, Erickson, Orcutt and Richardson placed second.
SENIORS
Melissa Barringer 50 free-4th, 100m breast-1st (pool record), 50 fly-10th; Laura Linn 200 IM-11th, 50 fly-7th; Jenny Silvernale 200 IM-4th, 100 breast-6th, 100 back-3rd; Shelby DeVries 400m free-9th, 50 free-8th; Aaron Lehnerz 200 IM-11th, 100 fly-10th; Andrew Lehnerz 100 free-8th, 50 fly-7th.
The boys’ 200m Free relay team of Aaron Lehnerz, Cheney Gianarelli, Logan Erickson and Andrew Lehnerz placed 11th. The 200m Medley team of the same members as above also placed 11th.
The girls’ 200m Free relay squad of DeVries, Linn, Silvernale and Barringer came home in third and the girls’ 200m Medley team of the same members as above raced into second place.
The girls finished fourth overall at the state meet.
