I-O Photo courtesy of Amy Salois The Conrad swim team geared up for the state meet in Lewistown this weekend by placing fourth at the divisional meet in Cut Bank over the weekend. Highlighting the meet for the team was Jenny Silvernale who won High Point honors in the Intermediate division with three first place finishes. Melissa Barringer set a new Cut Bank pool record on Saturday in the 100m breast stroke with a time of 1:24.45 and then on Sunday broke her own record with a time of 1:24.04. The team standings went like this: 1. Bitterroot, 2. Columbia Falls, 3. Shelby, 4. Conrad, 5. Fort Benton, 6. Cut Bank, 7. Chester, 8. Choteau, 9. Plains, and 10. Sunburst. The individual times and places looked like this: BANTAMS Jerry Cassidy 11th-25 free, 8th-25 back, 6th-25 fly; Parker Larson 12th-25 free, 6th-50 free, 2nd-25 back; Shawn Cassidy 5th-25 free, 6th-50 free, 2nd-25 back; Nolan Dugan 6th-25 free, 3rd-25 back, 2nd-25 fly; Raelynn Jones 6th-25 free, 6th-25 breast, 9th-25 back; Dania Jones 8th-25 breast, 5th-100 IM, 6th-25 fly; Kinsey Harris 5th-25 breast, 4th-50 free. In the boys’ 100m Free Relay, the team of Shawn Cassidy, Larson, Jerry Cassidy and Dugan placed second. The boys’ 100m Medley team of Jerry Cassidy, Shawn Cassidy, Dugan and Larson also placed second. At the girls’ 100m Free Relay, the squad of Dania Jones, Raelynn Jones, Harris and Erickson placed third. In the 100m Medley Relay, the team of R. Jones, D. Jones, Erickson and Harris came in third. MIDGETS Brianna Zumbrun 9th-50 free, 6th-100 IM, 8th-50 fly; Emily Harris 10th-50 free, 10th-50 breast, 2nd-50 back; Kyleigh Salois 7th-100 IM, 7th-50 fly; Krista Judisch 1-100 IM, 1st-50 back; Lacey Jones 6th-50 breast, 9th-100 free, 3rd-50 back; Delaney Gilbert 10th-50 back.
