   At the Havre meet, the team scores and places for the ladies went like this: 1. Malta 113, 2. Havre 112, 3. Glasgow 73, 4. Conrad 48.5, 5. Fort Benton 32, 6. Opheim 30, 7. Poplar 25, 8. North Star 21, 9. Big Sandy 20, 10. Chinook 12, 11. Saco 8. Harlem 8 and Sunburst 8 (tie) and 14. Browning 7.
    Barringer picked up a pair of first places, 7-6 in the pole vault and 14-2-1/2 in the long jump (JV). Brauer was second in the pole vault, 7-0 and sixth in the high jump, 4-6.
    Brown helped the team, placing in four events; third in the 100m in 13.3, second in the 200m in 27.8, second in the shot put, 34-11 and second in the javelin with a toss of 124.3.
    On the JV side, Harris got second in the pole vault, Kronebusch fifth in the discus and sixth in the shot put, and VanderVeen was fourth in the pole vault.
    On the boys’ side, team scores and places looked like this: Havre 90, Big Sandy 60, Malta 56, Glasgow 53, North Star 53, Saco 52, Browning 38, Fort Benton 37, Harlem 35, Poplar 18, Conrad 17, Sunburst 6 and Chinook 4.
    For the Cowboys, Irvin ran a 43.2 in the 300H to capture first place. In the 110HH he crossed the tapeline in 17.8 for third and ran an 11.7 time for sixth place in the 100m.
    On the JV side, Vanderbush was sixth in the shot, Sommer fourth in the 100m, Philipps first in the long jump, 17-5, Moerkerke was first in the 110HH in 20.5, second in the 300H. Matheson was third in the shot put and pole vault. Martin was third in the 800m and tied with Lehnerz for first in the pole vault at 9-0.
    Track Performers of the Week were Irvin and Brown in the Sprints, Brauer for the jumps, and Brown and Matheson for the throws.
    Thursday Conrad is scheduled to host a high school track and field meet.
    The track events begin at 4:15 p.m. with the 110 hurdles. The field events  start at 4 p.m. with the long jump (G), javelin, (B),  and girls’ discus and pole vault.
