The annual Farm-Ranch tournament at the Pondera Golf Club on Friday pulled in 16 four-person teams for some course action.
The First Flight was a shoot-out between the teams of Skylar Orcutt, Justin Meier, Jeremiah Pearson, and Ross Johnson against Lane Judisch, Kellen Judisch, and Brandon and John Coryell.
Both teams finished in regulation play with blistering 59s on their card over the 6,596-yard par 72 layout.
In a two-hole playoff, the squad of Orcutt, Meier, Pearson and Johnson won and took first place honors.
The team of Ryan VanDyke, Tim VanDyke, Kenny VanDyke and Jaren VanDyke put together a round of 62 to place first in Flight Two.
Chris and Judy Ellis, Don Dutro and Jerry Philipps who fashioned a round of 64 followed them.
In Flight Three, the team of Rollie Schlepp, Jim Judisch, Jr., Jim Sargent, and Bill McKinley, Jr., put together a round of 69 to take first in flight. One shot back at 70, two under par, were Michelle Botsford, Pat Meuli, Dave Orcutt, and John Campos.
For Flight Four, shooting a nifty 66 got first place in their flight for Vanessa Bucklin, Scott Embody, and Ben and Phil Hodgskiss.
They were followed by Paul Johnson, Jerry Jerome, Adam “Thundersticks” Jerome, and Ernie Ratzburg, who put together a round of 71.
Following the tournament, there was a rib barbecue cooked by Janie Olson and Scott Arvidson on a Traeger wood burning pellet grill.
Later, Erik “Fingers Ray” Gustafson rounded out the evening playing his toe tapping, hand clapping music that set the golfers to dancing.
