At approximately 3:30 the golfers start rolling in after their 18 holes to gather under the tent for a delicious supper prepared by Louise Aegerter and crew.   During the supper a fantastic live auction is held.  This year’s auction will be lead by the famous radio voice of Dean Lerum.  (See this week’s ad for auction list).  We have many great items, including a pink pedal car, golf packages, quilts, and a pink pedal tractor and much, much more. Then we move on to the golf awards for the day and the Survivor Ceremony.  This is a very special tribute to all of the women that have been touched by this disease.   Everyone is invited to join us that evening for dinner, auction and program.
During the day you will be able to view and purchase your raffle tickets on the PINK zero turn lawn mower that will be drawn for when 300 tickets have been sold...tickets are going fast.   Also a very special car will be on display at the golf course by Northern Ford of Cut Bank, the Limited Edition of the  2008 Warriors in Pink Mustang especially designed in tribute of Breast Cancer Patients.  You may have seen one of these stylish cars on “Army Wives” on July 13 on Lifetime Network.  The drawing for the Pink Quilt created by Quilt with Class of Shelby will also be drawn that evening at dinner, tickets still available.
If you have been a previous contributor to the tournament and we have over looked you or a new one that would like to support breast cancer patients and their families please call us.   You may still purchase pink flags in honor or memory of a breast cancer patient with their name on it to be placed on the course that day.
Hi-Line WABC is a local organization that aids Breast Cancer Patients and their Families in many ways.  We have helped women from Chinook to Cut Bank and from Sweet Grass to Conrad/Valier and all in between.
Such requests are for help with medical and prescription bills; wigs and prosthesis; hotel and travel and one of our biggest requests are for help with the rising cost of gas.   Some of these ladies have to make daily trips to Great Falls for treatment and gas counts up very fast and some single weekly treatments costing over $7,000 each.  Please join us in helping these individuals.
If you have any questions about our upcoming tournament or know of someone that may need our help, please call.... Jan Nelson at 406-759-5497.
