    The Conrad music students shined at the District Music Festival held in Great Falls.
    Conrad High School students, under the direction of instructor Larry Thorsen, came home with 16 number one ratings, which is Superior, 11-2’s which is Excellent and one three which is Good.
The following students all received a Superior rating:
    Dan Hadcock in Piano Solo; the Senior Women’s Ensemble; Katie VanderVeen, Vocal Solo; the Men’s Ensemble; VanderVeen and Courtney Sutherland, Vocal Duet; Shannalee Finlayson and Jessica Breding, Vocal Duet; Finlayson and VanderVeen, Vocal Duet; Jaci Hanson and Laura Linn, Vocal Duet; Hansen and Finlayson, Vocal Duet; Zoë Yeager, Vocal Solo; Anna Pearson and Yeager, Vocal Duet; McKenna Mielke, Pearson, Yeager, Vocal Trio; Jaclynn Hanson, Vocal Solo; Finlayson, Vocal Solo; and VanderVeen, Flute Solo.
The following students all received an Excellent rating:
    Rachel Lamb, Piano Solo; Sydney Philipps, Piano Solo; Women’s Ensemble; Sutherland, Vocal Solo; Linn, Vocal Solo; Jeremy Farnstrom and Landon Lee, Vocal Duet; Roberta Kronebusch, Vocal Solo; VanderVeen and Philipps, Flute Duet; and the Skyliners.
    The high school band received an Excellent in Prepared Music, and a three in Sight Reading.
    The choir received an Excellent for Prepared Music and a Superior for Sight Reading.
    Ernestine Olson and Kit Finlayson accompanied the students in their solo and duet performances.
