Speech and Drama team score well at divisional
SECOND PLACE – The Conrad Speech and Drama team placed second at the divisional meet over the weekend and now move on to the state meet. In the front, from the left is Rosemary Dodge, Shannalee Finlayson, Rachel Lamb and Megan Arndt. In the middle is Bianca Moss and Roberta Kronebusch. In the back row is Coach Rick Moss with the team trophy, Brach Newmiller, Sydney Philipps, Georgia Lamb, Kelsey Ostrom and Katey VanderVeen.
    The Conrad Speech and Drama team attended the divisional held in Cut Bank on Saturday, Jan. 19 with a number of students scoring well.
    Katey VandeVeen took second in Memorized Public Address, while Sydney Phillips took seventh in Impromptu.
    Dan Hadcock took tenth and Megan Arndt took twelfth in Hu­morous Oral Interpretation. Kelsey Ostrom and Georgia Lamb took first in Serious Duo. Shannalee Finlayson and Brach Newmiller took ninth in Humorous Duo.
    Bianca Moss took fourth in Se­rious Solo, while Roberta Kronebusch took sixth and Nikki Linn took fourteenth in Humorous Solo.
    Rosemary Dodge and Rachel Lamb took second in Classical Duo. Conrad took fifth in Speech Sweeps and brought home a third place trophy in Drama Sweeps.
    Congratulations to the team for such a great season and represent­ing Conrad so well at Divisional.
    On Friday and Saturday, Jan 25-26, those students who took sev­enth will be alternates and those that took sixth or above will com­pete for Conrad at State in Huntley Project. Sydney Phillips (an alter­nate) in Impromptu.
    There is an opening, so Rose­mary Dodge and Rachel Lamb in Classical Duo. Katey VanderVeen in Memorized Public address. Kel­sey Ostrom and Georgia Lamb in Serious Duo. Bianca Moss in Seri­ous Solo, and Roberta Kronebusch in Humorous Solo.
