Wildlife photography offered by presenter Dr. Gene Grove from Whitefish was held in our Members house. The plant Identification segment involved small groups who took a short walk in the outdoors viewing the wildflowers with Boone and Crockett Club’s education specialist Allyson Hoof.
The Dutch oven cooking demonstration presentation, by Dick and Mary Jane Kinyon of Conrad was held outside under a canopy with guests gathered around in lawn chairs. The Dutch oven dishes prepared were served as our evening dinner selection.
There were folks from all over the area; towns and communities represented at the event were Conrad, Browning, Valier, Cut Bank, Choteau, Brady – Ledger, Great Falls, Helena and Whitefish.
We were happy to have Jim Sheble from Valier and Irene Stuart of Valier/Conrad provide a wonderful evening of musical harmony accompanied by Jim on his guitar as guests lined up for our buffet smorgasbord.
There were two main dishes, fresh baked bread, veggie salad, drinks and three kinds of desserts. Guests stayed to visit and mingle long after the close of the event at 7:30.  The enthusiastic request from our guests to do this every year was wonderful.
The weather was perfect.  A light breeze, sunshine and spring flowers covered the fields followed by a beautiful sunset that helped us to celebrate the day.
