Conrad places sixth at state
BUTTERFLY GAL – Makayla Barringer flies down the lane in the 200m Medley Relay at the state meet in Lewistown. She and Teagan Tucker, Taryn Erickson and Jayde Richardson placed fourth.
    Conrad had 28 swimmers competing at the state meet in Lewistown over the weekend.
    They placed sixth in the Class A division. Team places and points looked like this:
    1st Lewistown 563, 2nd Chinook 349, 3rd Glasgow 269.5, 4th Fort Benton 239, 5th Cut Bank 167, 6th Conrad 116.50.
    High lighting the meet for Conrad was Melissa Barringer who set a state record in the 100m-breaststroke event, being clocked at 1:12.72.
    Jenny Silvernale won High Point honors with two first places and a third.
    Individual and relay results went like this:
BANTAMS
    Shawn Cassidy 9th-25 back; Nolan Dugan 12th- 25 fly.
    In the 100 Free Relay, the boys’ team of Shawn Cassidy, Parker Larson, Jerry Cassidy and Nolan Dugan placed eighth.
    In the 100m Medley, the girls’ team of Raylnn Jones, Dania Jones, Nicole Erickson and Kinsey Harris placed fourth. In the 100m Free Relay, D. Jones, R. Jones, Harris and Erickson came in second.
MIDGETS
    Krista Judisch 7th-100 IM, 8th-50 back.
    In the girls’ 100m Free Relay, Emily Harwood, Lacey Jones, Krista Judisch and Kyleigh Salois placed 10th. In the 100m Medley, Judisch, Jones, Salois and Harwood also placed 10th.

 JUNIORS
    Teagan Tucker 10th-50 breast, 1st-50 back; Makayla Barringer 4th-50 back, 11th-200 IM.
    In the 200m girls’ Free Relay, Barringer, Jayde Richardson, Taryn Erickson, and Tucker captured sixth. At the 200m Medley, Tucker, Erickson, Barringer and Richardson came in fourth.
INTERMEDIATE
    Jenny Silvernale 3rd-100 breast, 1st-100 back, 1st-200 IM.
SENIORS
    Laura Linn 13th-400 free, 10th-100 breast, 11th-50 fly; Melissa Barringer 3rd-50 free, 1st-100 breast, 12th-50 fly; Andrew Lehnerz 11th-100 back.
    In the boys’ 200m Fee Relay, Andrew Lehnerz, Aaron Lehnerz, Cheney Gianarelli, and Logan Erickson placed 10th. In the 200m Medley, Andrew Lehnerz, Gianarelli, Erickson and Aaron Lehnerz placed ninth.
    In the 200m girls’ Medley Relay, Silvernale, Barringer, Linn and Sydney Philipps placed second. At the 200m Free, Silvernale, Linn, Philipps and Barringer came home in fourth.
    Swimmers competing in Lewistown included Shawn Cassidy, Parker Larson, Jerry Cassidy, Nolan Dugan, Raelynn Jones, Kinsey Harris, Dania Jones and Nicole Erickson in the Bantam division.
    For the Midget class, it was Emily Harwood, Kyleigh Salois, Krista Judisch, Lacey Jones, Delaney Gilbert, Brianna Zumbrun, and Eric Harwood.
    In the Intermediate class it was Kyle Linn and Jenny Silvernale.
    For the Juniors it was Makayla Barringer, Jayde Richardson, Taryn Erickson, and Teagan tucker.
    Seniors included Andrew Lehnerz, Aaron Lehnerz, Logan Erickson, Cheney Gianarelli, Melissa Barringer, Laura Linn, and Sydney Philipps.
    Llew and Carole Jones and Craig Barringer coached the team.
