The Two-Medicine Dinosaur Center in Bynum and the Old Trail Museum in Choteau are reviving this historic and fun tradition on July 20. There will be games, activities, silent auctions, refreshments, door prizes, and free admission to both museums all day long. Paleontologist Dave Trexler will make three half hour presentations during the day, each on a different aspect of the local discoveries and paleontology in general. The first, “A History of Montana Paleontology,” will be at 1:15 p.m. at the Two Medicine Dinosaur Center. The second, Maiasaura-Montanan’s State Fossil,” will be presented at 2:45 p.m. at the Old Trail Museum. The third, entitled, “Paleontology-Why is it Important to Us”? is scheduled at 4:15 p.m. at the Two Medicine Dinosaur Center. Limited transportation (for up to 14 persons) between the facilities will be available for those who wish to attend the presentations at both facilities.
