The AFIS curriculum provides specialized training in farm/ranch and agribusiness risks. By obtaining the AFIS designation, Cynthia joins a group of dedicated insurance professionals who have advanced their knowledge and experience regarding all agribusiness risks. Ries, a Conrad native raised on an irrigated wheat and barley farm, has been an insurance agent for nearly 20 years. Her priorities out of the office are her junior high twin daughters, Carley and Hayley. You can also find her actively involved in the Stockman Bank events, the Pondera Players Community Theater, Pondera Arts Council and various musical events and home improvement projects.

Cynthia Ries, insurance agent for Stockman Insurance in Conrad, recently passed the third and final exam of the Agribusiness and Farm Insurance Specialist (AFIS) certification. AFIS is the only insurance industry designation specific to farm/ranch agribusiness risks.
