| Spring sports teams honored for academic achievement |

The 2010-11 spring sports teams, both varsity and JV squads, were recognized for their academic achievement. The MHSA and Army National Guard Academic All Team award is given to the top five teams that have outstanding academic achievement during the school year’s third quarter of play. MHSA member schools calculate their students’ accumulative GPA for the award. Spring selections are determined using only students who have participated in third quarter activities. Conrad teams did very well and following is the placing and GPA of each team. For the girls’ softball, the JV squad ranked first with a GPA of 3.195. The varsity team had a GPA of 3.422.
The boys’ golf team placed fifth with a GPA of 2.734. The girls did not have a team. In boys’ tennis, the JV ranked first with a GPA of 3.364 and the varsity placed first as well with a GPA of 3.244. On the girls’ side, the JV team was in first with a GPA of 3.098 while the varsity team was in fifth with a GPA of 3.223. They placed three of four teams in the number one spot. The boys’ JV team topped their field with a GPA of 3.528 and the varsity did the same with a GPA of 3.554. On the girls’ side, the JV team had a GPA of 4.0 and the varsity was in fifth place with a GPA of 3.223.
