The mark of a good team is when you can play ‘not so good’ and still come out with a win.

Conrad did that Tuesday and got a big victory over rival Cut Bank as they headed into the holiday break.

Early on there were four ties and three lead changes in a back and forth first quarter, but when the dust settled the Wolves had a three point 11-14 advantage.

However, that last score for the visitors came on a wing-and-a-prayer shot from Nick Stuart right in front of the buzzer.

The second quarter belonged to Conrad as they went on a 15-6 run, helped by back-to-back long range buckets from Cameron Janzen,  three free throws from Devin VandenBos and scores from Ben Moerkerke and Clay Winters.
