The Conrad golf teams were in Shelby on Monday for the divisional tournament. But before that, they scrambled on area courses to get some meets in.
With less than ideal weather this spring, the CHS golf teams have had trouble getting in some playtime on the links.
This last week, golfers finally were able to swing the sticks in tournament play.
Wednesday the team was in Havre, still with windy, chilly conditions, to play in the Rocky Boy Invitational.
The B-C teams followed a C-team format where by your team consists of four players with the team score being the best of three of the four players.
The Cowboys placed first with a 271 total followed by Fort Benton at 279, Cut Bank and Choteau in with 307 scores.
Nathan Gage paced the Cowboys when he fashioned a nice 84. Rhett Orcutt shot a 99, Kyle Ellis was in with a 97 and Austin Fowler put together a round of 90.
The second Cowboy combined for a 317-team score. Ramsey Offerdal shot a 110, Wyeld Converse 90, Doug Peters 117, and Steve Peters a 117.
Medalist for the boys was Louis Schneider of Fort Benton with a 79 Gage with his 84 placed second Fowler and Converse with their scores of 90 tied for fourth place.
Both of the Conrad girls placed in top 10.
Jenny Silvernale placed third with a round of 101 and Kylee Schlepp came in with a 114 for sixth place. Marnee LeBrel of Fort Benton was medalist at 94 with Jessica Waldner of Cut Bank getting second with a 107.
Friday the teams played in the Cut Bank Invitational.

The Cowboy squad came on to get second right behind Choteau. Team scores went this way: Choteau 329, Conrad 333, Fort Benton 338, Cut Bank 343, Shelby 356, and Valier 378.
Schneider was the low medalist player. Gage took second with a round of 77. He won a chip-off with Ethan Haug. When his shot stopped just 18 inches from the cup. Ellis placed ninth with an 84 and Orcutt with right behind with 85 for 10th place.
