Zumba classes coming to Conrad

Cassie DeVries is beginning a Zumba fitness class in Conrad starting Sept. 28.  DeVries is so sure you will enjoy it that she is offering the first week for free.
Classes will be held at the Pondera Golf Club on Mondays and Wednesdays starting at 7 p.m.
For those of you that have no idea what Zumba is, here is a brief description.
Zumba is a Latin-inspired, dance-fitness class that incorporates Latin and International music and dance movements, which create a dynamic, exciting, and effective fitness system.  This class format combines fast and slow rhythms that tone and sculpt the body in an aerobic/fitness fashion to achieve a unique blended balance of cardio and muscle-building benefits.
Zumba integrates some of the basic principles of aerobic, interval, and resistance training to maximize caloric output, cardiovascular benefits, and total body toning.
The cardio-based dance movements are easy-to-follow steps that target areas such as gluteals, legs, arms, core, abdominals, and most importantly, the heart.
Dancers and non-dancers alike immediately and easily master Zumba class, because you do not have to know how to dance to succeed at Zumba.
Zumba creates a party-like atmosphere that provides a non-intimidating opportunity for non-dancers, new exercisers, or those who have previously hesitated to participate in group exercises.
To sign up for the class or if you have any further questions call DeVries at (406) 271-9116.
So get off your butts, try something new and let the party begin.  You can’t beat the first week’s price.
