Marias River Watershed logo contest looking for entries

The Marias River Watershed is sponsoring a logo contest and would like to have you participate!  Contestants may be ages 12 years to adults.
“We want a logo that will reflect some or all of the goals of our organization,” stated Marlene Moon, Coordinator for the Marias River Watershed.
She went on to say, “These goals include the resources of the river area…clean water, abundant wildlife and fisheries and our rural lifestyle.  The logo may also incorporate some of the recognizable images of the river  (Tiber Dam and/or Lake Elwell), or may depict other prominent features. The winner will receive a $100 cash award.”
The logo will be used on watershed letterhead and other documents.  It will also be the recognizable icon for future watershed projects and programs.
Moon has other agency/organization logos available for use as examples.  To obtain a copy of them, call (406) 759-5778, extension 102, and the color examples will be mailed.
The contest deadline has been extended to Jan. 15, 2010.
“We are asking that logos be submitted on 8.5 x 11 inch paper and have no more than 4 colors,”  Moon said.
For further information or contest submission, contact Marlene Moon, MRW Coordinator, PO Box 669, Chester 59522.
