Where are you now?

A number of years ago The I-O, with great success, ran a special section on Where are you now?

The hometown folks are always interested in who went where and what they are doing now.

Maybe you graduated from Conrad High School, went away to college and found a job on a shrimp boat in Louisiana, hmmm, that wouldn’t be so hot right now.

Or maybe you went, like Carmen DeVries, to teach school in New Guinea, or, maybe you found a new adventure just on the other side of the hill in Missoula or maybe you are serving our great land in the armed services.

You don’t have to be a native of Conrad, this is open to anyone who lived in Pondera County and now resides somewhere else.

Are you married, getting married, have kids, don’t have kids, have an iguana for a pet, going to school, working or not.

If you would like to send a photo along, that would be even better. Digital photos are preferred in color, a minimum size of 5x7 with 200 dpi. We would like stories to be approximately 300 words or less.

You can mail us by snail mail to P.O. Box 966 or email your story to This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. .

If you email your story put Where are you now? in the subject line. If you send it by regular mail, make it to the attention of Editor.

We will collect stories until the end of August, and then put them altogether in a special section in September.

If you have questions or want more information, contact Buck Traxler, Editor, at 271-5561 or at the above email address.
