The Conrad High School Speech and Drama team competed at the Browning Invitational on Saturday, going head-to-head with 13 other teams from Class A-B-C.
Coach Wayne Reynolds commented, “Of the Class B teams participating Conrad did very well and we came home with a first place in Drama.”
In the Classical Duo segment, Erin Awtry and D.J. Mecham placed first.
In Humorous Solo, Cassie Robertson came in fourth, Chris Jensen and Ray Hough placed 11th in Humorous Duo and Lynne Spears took 11th in Humorous Oral Interpretation.
This weekend the Speech and Drama players travel to Cut Bank for an Invitational tournament.
On Nov. 20 Conrad will host the Conrad Invitational Speech and Drama meet.
The school could use some more volunteers to be a judge, no experience needed.
