Lacy Nickol has purchased the Golden Triangle Agency specializing in crop, hail and farm-ranch insurance.

Originally from Modesto, Calif., she moved to Montana to be closer to family, transferring to the local Wells Fargo Bank. She later moved over to work at M&K Distributors and Farmers Insurance.

Nickol purchased the agency in June, however, she is not involved in the real estate portion of the business, “Just farm and ranch liability, livestock, crop and hail insurance.”  She went on to add, “ I can also offer home, auto, and liability insurance.”

If you can’t come to her office at 600 S. Main St. in the Pondera Village Shopping Center, Nickol will travel to see you.

Her normal business hours are from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday. Her phone number is (406) 278-3289 or you can contact her on the Internet at This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.

Nickol received her insurance license in 2000 and is fully licensed for all areas except investments and life insurance. She notes there are two types of life insurance, variable and life, and she deals with life insurance, not variable.

Her crop insurance is through Great American Insurance.

She and her husband, Tony, have a family farm east of Conrad. He is also a member of the Conrad Volunteer Fire Department.

Nickol is involved with the Women of the Moose and she bowls in the Thursday Night Women’s League.
