The Conrad Area Chamber of Commerce is having its Annual Banquet on Feb. 8 at Norley Hall.
Cocktail hour is from 6-7 p.m. and the dinner and program will follow at 7 p.m.
The speaker this year is in demand not only in the U.S. but internationally as well. He is the excellent Matt Matteson, www.mattesonavenue.com .
We are looking for table sponsors. The theme this year is ‘TV Shows,’ so use your imagination and get creative. A Banquet Table Sponsor is $175 and includes six admission tickets, a table to decorate (eight place settings) and a sponsorship listing in the banquet’s program. If you would like to be a General Banquet Sponsor, this costs $100 and includes three admission tickets and a sponsorship listing in the program.
In addition, we are accepting nominations for three different awards (descriptions below). Please submit your nominations in writing stating why your nominee deserves the award, and mail, email or deliver your nomination to the Chamber by Jan. 21.
The Unsung Hero Award goes to “an individual who volunteers their time and energy toward the betterment of Conrad and deserves special recognition for their efforts.”
The Business Leadership Award is “presented to a business person who has shown Outstanding Commitment to the Conrad Business Community.”
The Clydesdale Award goes to “a group or organization that has displayed a workhorse ethic and shown team work, working together on a concept or project for the benefit of our area.”
