CofC annual banquet on tap Feb. 8

The Conrad Area Chamber of Commerce’s 46th Annual Banquet is coming up on Feb. 8 at Norley Hall.

Cocktail hour begins at 6 p.m. followed by the dinner and banquet at 7 p.m.  This year’s dinner is catered by Mike and Pat Harding with Big Ox BBQ & Catering, with a no-host bar provided by Ed’s Tavern.

“In addition to a wonderful catered dinner, we look forward to the keynote speaker Mark Matteson, an internationally renowned idea reporter, business humorist, and thought leader,” says Molly Bock CofC executive secretary.  “He has been called a Street Scholar, Idea Reporter, and Insightful Business Humorist.”

Matteson’s topic will be Raising the Bar in 2011. To find out more about Matteson, you are encouraged to check out his website on the Internet at www.mattesonavenue.com.

Giving 60-70 presentations annually, Matteson uses humor to deliver hard-hitting business ideas and inspires organizations to Raise the Bar to achieve higher levels of personal and professional performances.

In addition, the theme for this year’s banquet is TV Shows!

If you are interested in sponsoring a table, being a general sponsor, attending the banquet as an individual, or simply need more information, contact Bock at the Conrad Area Chamber of Commerce at 271-7791.

“We look forward to seeing everyone there,” she said.
