The Pondera Medical Center (PMC) has hired Tiffany Nitz as the new Director of Nurses for the PMC-Extended Care Unit.
Nitz received her Associates Degree in Nursing from MSU Northern Havre in 1994 and then went on to receive a certificate in Psychiatric Nursing and Advanced Gerontology (the study of aging) Nursing from Oregon Health and Science University.
She also received a Master’s Degree in Nursing from the University of Phoenix in 2007.
Directly after graduating from Nursing School Nitz was employed by the Northern Montana Care Center (NMCC) in Havre and stayed with NMCC for 13 years.
In 2007 she and her family moved to Great Falls where she was employed by Benefis Healthcare and Missouri River Care and Rehab for three years.
Nitz and her husband Jason have two children, 13-year-old Tracer and nine-year-old Haley. The family continues to reside in Great Falls.
PMC is very excited to welcome her as the new D.O.N. in their Extended Care Unit.
