In the comfy confines of the Conrad High School auditorium, for the second time, the 15th annual staff and employee recognition program took place.

Jan Carter, the outgoing school trustee chairperson gave a short welcome, noting, “All of you should be recognized for all you do.”

Superintendent of Schools Lynn Utterback, who is retiring at the end of the school year, told the assembled teachers and staff, “We are fortunate to have quality people here.”

With that, he and CHS Principal Ken Larson awarded service pins of which 12 were given.

Diana Agre a fifth teacher at Prairie View School and Wendy Gierke who teaches Grade K at Meadowlark each received 35 year service pins.

She joins Bill Jimmerson, Chuck Powers, Cheryl Schlepp, Linda Garnett, Carol Gunderson, Tara Thielman, Monica Tomayer, Jim Carroll, Deb Perry, Beth Ann Bolmeier, Carol Brownell, Janie McFarland, Carol Mielke and Lee and Certified Staff who were recipients of the Teacher of the Year award.
