As part of their commitment to giving back to the communities they serve, 3 Rivers Communications awarded the Pondera Regional Port Authority a $1,000 Community Enhancement Grant to be used to renovate the kitchen in the new Community Center.

Cheryl Curry Executive Director of the Port Authority said upon receiving the check, “We appreciate this support from 3 Rivers. The kitchen will service the Senior Center and also be available for public use which can be rented for such things as family reunions, receptions, community meetings or special events.”

This donation is part of 3 Rivers efforts to improve their local communities and enhance their member’s lives through economic development projects.

Kyle Burgmaier, 3 Rivers board representative, was on hand to deliver this grant award to PA President John McFarland. He noted, “The board and employees at 3 Rivers live in many of our 27 serving areas and know the importance of being a good community partner in our local communities. I’m glad to see that we are able to contribute to so many local projects through our Community Enhancement Grant program.”

This is the seventh year that 3 Rivers has provided grant money to non-profit groups to use in their area for economic development and community improvements.
