Knobel to be ring steward at kennel expo

09_lynn701This weekend, June 24-25, Lynn Knobel will be the featured Chief Ring Steward at the Electric City Kennel Club show in Great Falls.

The show will be the 54th annual for the kennel club which is the oldest club in Montana.

The show, free and open to the public, will take place at the Expo Center in Great Falls starting at 9 a.m. on Friday and 8 a.m. on Saturday.

The Expo Center is located on the State Fairgrounds across from Sam’s Club on the Northwest Bypass.

The group rings and Best in Show will be on Friday at 3:15 p.m. and Saturday at 2:15  p.m.

Olivia Knobel will be showing a wirehaired Terrier that she has also prepared for the dog show.

There will be over 1,000 dogs from all across the country, all vying for the Best in Show ribbon.

The Chief Ring Steward hires the other ring stewards who assist the judge and keeps track of the placing, and hand out arm bands and ribbons.
