The annual Pondera Medical Center golf tournament is forming up for play on July 16 at the Pondera Golf Club.

One of the better tournaments played, this year’s event promises to be as good as ever.

Format for the event is a four-person scramble with three divisions; men’s, women’s and mixed couples.

The entry fee is $180 per team which includes a continental breakfast, lunch and a terrific dinner.

This year there will be four different hole-in-one prizes offered.

One is an all expenses paid golf trip for two at the Jamaican Half Moon Resort.

There is also a set of Cleveland hybrid irons, a Richard Petty driving experience or a $500 Visa gift card.

Players are expected to tee off at 9 a.m.

The PMC tourney is a fund-raiser for the hospital to purchase equipment they would not otherwise be able to get.

This year proceeds will go for a steam table for the PMC-ECU residents or a raised garden for the ECU so residents can grow and tend to flowers.

To sign up a team or get more information, contact the PGC at 278-3402 or call Janette VanLuchene or Michele Ghekiere at the PMC-271-3211.
