The Montana Fish, Wildlife and parks and the Alberta Conservation Association are teaming up to host a tour for landowners from Alberta and Montana.
The purpose is to meet informally and visit upland game bird projects near Conrad.
“This is a great opportunity for landowners to exchange ideas about the latest in habitat enhancements, challenges and benefits during this field tour,” says Diane Boyd of the FWP Upland Game Bird Enhancement Program.
The special event will take place on Aug. 16, all day and for half a day on Aug. 17.
Tour members will meet at the FWP Conrad field office in Blue Sky Villa at 10 a.m. and move out from there.
There is no charge for the tour and lunch, free of charge, will be provided.
Breakfast and dinner will be at the participants’ expense.
For those coming in from out of town, overnight accommodations are available the Northgate Motel 278-3516, or at the Super 8, 278-7676.
An RSVP is requested for participation by Aug. 12.
