Cowboys defeated by Fairfield 35-0

The Conrad Cowboys were defeated by the Fairfield Eagles last Friday night by a score of 35-0. Fairfield scored 21 first quarter points and added another score in the second quarter to lead 28-0 at halftime.

The Eagles added another score in the third quarter. Fairfield outgained the Cowboys 307 yards to 171 yards.

Joe Ries completed seven of 15 passes for 128 yards. He had one interception. Sam Larson, Ben Moerkerke and Devin Vandenbos each caught two passes and Sam Carroll had one reception.

 

The Cowboys gained 43 yards on the ground. The Cowboys turned the ball over three times

 

Defensively, Larson led the team with 12 tackles and an interception. Lucas Schultz had four tackles followed by Luke Schlosser and Carroll with three tackles. Ries had a sack.

The Cowboys start a three game homestand this Friday night against Big Timber. Game time is 7 p.m.
