The Cowgirl volleyball team ended their regular season with two big wins this past week.
Monday evening they took care of Rocky Boy in straight games by scores of 25-10, 25-15, and 25-23. On Tuesday, Senior Night, they got past Browning in straight sets by scores of 25-20, 25-17, and 25-23.
Against Rocky Boy Conrad servers knocked over nine aces with Kristine Warlick having four and Rashelle Johns three.
The Cowgirls had a big night on the front line with 39 kill shots, led by Taylor Judisch with 12 and Ciara Bender with nine.
Brittany Greyn dished up 23-32 assists, Johns had 7-17 blocked shots and Judisch five. Bender had 8-29 digs for the team.
In a non-conference tilt with Browning, senior Johns turned in what may have been her best game of the season.
The team was deadly at the service line pushing over 17 aces. Johns led the way with eight and Shanae Newmiller had five.
On the front line, Johns put back 10 kill shots, led the way with 8-15 blocks and had 10 digs.
Judisch was the top gun for kills smacking back 12, Greyn dished out 26-31 assists Bender blocked five shots while Newmiller put up 15-62 digs.
The team’s four senior players that were honored prior to the game are Shanae Newmiller, Brittany Greyn, Rashelle Johns, and Ciara Bender.
The district tourney tips off on Friday in Choteau. Conrad plays at 10 a.m. and it looks as though they will face off with the Shelby Coyotes.
