From a town rich on values and community comes our ‘Spotlight on Business’ which highlights a business, gives emphasis on their contributions to our community and remembers their history.

Rich and Julie Murack met during their days at Northwestern Health Sciences University in Bloomington, Minn. where they were studying to become chiropractors. They graduated on April 17, 1993 and were married on April 24 of the same year. The following Monday, they moved themselves to Conrad and purchased the Tri-County Chiropractic Clinic which they renamed In-Line Chiropractic Center.

The couple works together in three locations; Conrad, Valier and Cut Bank. They strive to serve their patients and community to the best of their ability. When asked what makes their business unique to Conrad, they answered, “us.”

Choosing Conrad began a year before the Muracks graduated college. They began searching for a place to internship and then purchase. Their search included Montana, Wyoming, Idaho and Nevada. They were given Reid Thompson’s name in Cut Bank, another graduate from their same university, and he pointed them in the direction of Conrad.

They continue to support the community through various efforts and organizations that they are involved in through their children and interests.

Besides chiropractic care, In-Line also provides physiotherapy and offers massage therapy through Hi-Line Massage.

In-Line Chiropractic has two employees in Cut Bank and two in Conrad. Cheri Bakken has been with the Conrad office for about 10 years and has been instrumental in their transition from paper to electronic health records and billing. Tracy Mullanney also works with Bakken.

In-Line’s hours of business are Monday through Friday 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. and 2 to 5 p.m. except on Tuesday when they are open only from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. They can be reached at 278-3602.
