From a town rich on values and community comes our ‘Spotlight on Business’ which highlights a business, gives emphasis on their contributions to our community and remembers their history.

Although Cowboy Designs is only in their third year of business, they continue to impact the community with their support for the Conrad teams by creating team spirit in fashion.

Cowboy Designs is owned and operated by Terry and Rachel Kinamon who started the business after purchasing equipment from the Stitching Station which was owned by Greg and Tammy Stuart. Previous to starting Cowboy Designs, Rachel was a baker for six years. Her creativity continues on through her design work in embroidery and screen printing.

When asked what makes Cowboy Designs unique to Conrad, Rachel noted that all the embroidery and screen printing are done in house. Her promise is to stand behind her product.

Cowboy Designs also offers graphics, specialty t-shirts, banners, mugs, pens and promotional products. Sheri Matheson recently joined the Cowboy Designs team, working all their vinyl including vehicles. A sample of her wall vinyl is shown below. They specialize in school products and make everything from t-shirts and uniforms to supplying gear and the little boys’ football helmets.

Their apparel line includes Under Armor, Dry Duck, Port Authority and more that are customizable to your needs. They even have a service available online to design your own shirt. Simply visit and follow the links.

The Kinamons came to town after Terry’s relocation with Qwest. They have four active children and help with community events through the school system and the Conrad Area Chamber of Commerce.

Cowboy Designs is located at 409 S. Main and can be reached at 278-0190. They are open Tuesday - Friday, 9:30 a.m. - 5 p.m.
