While traveling down the interstate, you might not think the small town of Conrad looks like much. However, take the alternative business route along Main Street and your view may change.

Conrad offers a diverse shopping scene to fit a variety of needs and has a delicious menu of places to stop and eat while you shop and drop.

Beginning from the north exit of the I-15 Business Loop, you can make your way into town and stop for a quick cappuccino at the City Center Car Wash and Espresso. This will give you that much needed boost of caffeine to get your shopping day started.

Right next door, Mountain View Co-op has what you are seeking for the outdoorsy type. Fishing, hunting and camping supplies are all available here. You can also pick up a pair of Muck boots or Carhart pants for that hardworking guy in your life.

Next you’ll come by the Conrad Building Center. There you will find any man’s dream gift for the season. Walk next door to Frontline Ag for that hard playing little farmer who would love a few green machines under the tree on Christmas morning.

Mountain Winds Pottery just a few more blocks down has unique, handmade kitchenware along with vases and items to add to any home lovers home décor.

When you reach Main Street and Fourth Avenue, don’t forget to stop for the perfect pampering gift certificates at the Nu Body Retreat, Salon 315, Headquarters Salon and House of Charles. Don’t forget to take a quick turn around the corner down Fourth Avenue for that cowboy or cowgirl in your life. Cope Graphics Western Outpost has your supply of Wrangler, Hanes, cowboy hats, blingy belts and more.

When your feet need a rest and it’s time for lunch, stop by the Home Café, for home cooked taste and homemade pies that are well known all over the state. If you’d like a lighter lunch, stop in The Lobby for a sandwich, soup or salad and other delicious drinks to be topped off with whipped cream. For more variety, Joe’s Family Steakhouse is open Wednesday through Saturday for lunch. They offer delicious appetizers and lunch specials. They are also open for dinner Wednesday through Sunday.

After lunch, Olson’s Drug is the place for dessert with their original and unique 50’s ice cream bar. They also have all the cards and gifts you need from your kids to grandparents.
