Honor Band students to perform in Billings

Ten area students have been selected to perform in an Honors Band-Choir at the Alberta Blair Theatre in Billings.

Nearly 200 music students from across Montana, Idaho, and Washington have been accepted for the fourth annual Rocky Mountain College Invitational Honors Concert.

The concert, which is open and free to the public, will begin at 7 p.m. on Feb. 3.

From Conrad High School, Honor Band students include Elli Garman, Jasmine Hilyard, Ariel Sauer, Jacob Gouchenour, Logan Gouchenour, Sam Carroll, and Dan O’Brien.

The music students are under the direction of Todd Truscott.

From Valier High School, students Kassady Sheble and Valerie Steele were selected.
