Benefit on tap for Meuli

A benefit for Mike Meuli is being planned for March 9, 6 p.m. at the Pondera Golf Club.

Meuli, as many of you know, is a life-long resident of Conrad.

He was involved in an accident  that injured his ankle and foot and in January doctors informed him that it was medically necessary to amputate his leg below the knee.

As a result he will be taking several months off from work while recuperating.

However, during this time he continues to be responsible for his living and medical expenses.

Michelle Botsford who is helping to organize the fund-raiser says, “Our goal is to help relieve the financial stress, allowing him to focus on a successful recovery.”

Thrivent Financial for Lutherans will be donating funds. If you care to donate money, make checks out to Thrivent Financial for Lutherans.

The benefit is in need of auction items. If you would like to donate an item, or have questions contact Botsford at Custom Crop Care at 278-3541.

There will be a “for donation” dinner at the PGC on Friday along with a raffle which for now includes two quarters of beef, 120 gallons of RT3, a load of gravel, Wellness Center memberships, a dinner for six by Dick Kinyon and more.
