Tirsea McNeal moved to Conrad this past September from Utah, where she and her husband left six grown children and nine grandchildren.

Although she misses family, she enjoys living in Conad. In her spare time, she does oil painting, photography, camping, fishing, and relaxing in her hammock with a good book.

Her first job in Conrad was as a Conrad Public School substitute.  In October, she began working part time as the First Presbyterian  Church Secretary.

McNeal is looking forward to working at the I-O and becoming more immersed in the community. She has an English degree from Weber State University and has experience in photography and journalism.

She takes over for Deanna Wakkinen, who recently resigned and will be covering Wakkinen’s regular beat.

McNeal can be reached at the I-O at 271-5561 or email at This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. .
