Summer Alive is an event for people in the Golden Triangle area of Montana to hear the life changing message of the gospel in an entertaining, yet non-threatening environment.
The speaker Pastor Rod Benner is from Colstrip. He grew up in Montana and attended seminary at Briercrest Bible College in Caronport, Sask., Canada.
Benner has been a pastor in Idaho, Wyoming, Alaska, Canada and Montana.
He will talk about how “Jesus is the Light of the World.” At this time in our world of hurt and financial uncertainty, health and relational issues, hope is the one who is unchangeable is indeed a welcome light.
According to their website description, “Summer Alive is an outreach celebration for those who are searching to fill the hole in their lives that only Christ can satisfy. It is not about a religious denomination, it is about the good news of Jesus Christ who paid the penalty once and for all for our sins.”
Childcare will be available each night for babies through third grade.
In addition to Benner, a band will be providing inspirational music.
The Summer Alive event is being sponsored by various churches in the area, in addition to community and local business support.
