Free legal clinic for those 60 years of age and older

If you are 60 years of age or older; or between the ages 20 to 59 years of age and have legal questions regarding an elderly relative, family member or friend, you may want to attend a free legal clinic coordinated by the Area III Agency on Aging.

You will have the opportunity to meet privately with paralegal(s) and/or attorney representatives to answer your legal questions and complete your documents.

Legal volunteers will be available to complete the following documents such as Durable Power of Attorney for Financial, Durable Power of Attorney for Medical and Healthcare; Declaration of Homestead; Beneficiary Deeds; Affidavit of Death; Living Will; Simple Wills.

The Legal Document Clinic will be held on July 19, at Conrad High School, 308 S. Illinois, in the commons, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and you must pre-register with the Agency on Aging.
