Grizzly Day Aug. 4

Once again the town of Dupuyer is gearing up for the Grizzly Day celebration.  The event held annually on the first Saturday of August will take place on Aug. 4.

As usual they will have many fun and interesting activities for the whole family throughout the day.  More details will be available soon.

For the parade, the city is hoping to have a varied assortment of tractors, antique and modern.  The parade will also feature classic cars, old machinery, floats and riding units.  All individuals are invited and welcome to participate in the parade.

The parade will begin at 11 a.m. and the units will form a line on Columbus Ave. at 10:30 a.m.  Units with loud horns or sirens will be placed at the forefront.  Horses, mules or other animals will be placed at the end of the lineup to avoid runaways.

Floats will not be judged, but there will be a drawing for three cash prizes held at the conclusion of the parade.
