In 1989, Larry Walter and Ralph Diedrich became owners of the Wesco Sports and Trailer Sales, Inc.

Established in 1968, Walter went to work for then owner Don Sieverson when he was in high school.  Walter said, “I’ve been here for 34 years.”

Diedrich went to work for Wesco in 1988, and after Don Sieverson passed away in 1987, his wife Pearl Sieverson sold the business to Walter and Diedrich.

Walter says, “Our mission statement is to strive to help our customers and keep them satisfied.”

The business is the only RV dealership in the Golden Triangle and they keep very busy.

Walter says, “Our busiest time is during spring and summer; although right now we’ve been pretty busy.”

In addition, they offer storage solutions for those who need to store a boat or an RV.

“We have indoor and outdoor storage available.” said Walter.

For RV sales, Wesco handles one manufacturer that has four different names: Snowriver; Nash; Artic Fox and Fox Mountain.

Walter adds, “The Artic Fox is a pricier model, but we can order them, we can order anything.”

The most popular models they sell are the Snowriver, the Nash and Fox Mountain.

Wesco Sports and Trailer Sales, Inc. is located on 411 North Main Street and their number is 278-5915.
