Cowgirls fall to Havre, 3-1

Conrad suffered a tough loss to the Havre Blue Ponies over the weekend, losing 3-1.

The scores of the matches went like this: 9-25, 25-17,9-25, 18-25.

The Cowgirls served up four aces, with Kristine Warlick, Taryn Erickson and Krista and Taylor Judisch each having one apiece. Havre managed to drop in eight aces.

T. Judisch pounded back 12 of the team’s 29 kill shots. Morgan VanDyke had six. Havre was just three better with 32 kills.

Hayley Orcutt put up 13 of the team’s 23 assists and Justine  Desjardin dished up eight. Krista Judisch blocked three shots at the net.

The Cowgirls got to almost everything the Ponies kicked their way, digging up 102 shots. Warlick put up 19 while T. Judisch and Desjardin each had 18.

The Cowgirls pony down to Choteau on Thursday and are back home for a match with the Lady Wolves of Cut Bank on Friday.

Cowgirl Senior Night will be here before you know it, when the team hosts Fairfield on Oct. 12.

Thursday the home ladies fell to Shelby in a road game, 3-1. Scores in the close match went like this, 25-18, 25-23, 23-25, 25-23 and 25-16.

The Cowgirls punched back 35 kills with T. Judisch having 13 to lead the way. Orcutt put up 21 of 29 assists and served up 5 of 11 aces.

Conrad had 101 digs with T. Judisch serving up 21. She and Emily Harwood each had a blocked shot.
