Vets to be honored at the PMC
In recognition of Montana veterans the Pondera Medical Center and Pondera Masonic Lodge 80 will honor veterans on Nov. 12 at 3 p.m.
This recognition is for all Korean conflict veterans. The event will take place in the Extended Care Unit of the PMC.
All veterans are invited to attend. A presentation of the colors will be made by the Malmstrom Air National Guard.
Korean veterans will receive a certificate of appreciation from the Masonic Lodge in conjunction with its Americanism program.
Last year World War II veterans were recognized for their sacrifice.
Veteran residents at the PMC-ECU include Jerry Kovatch, Marines; Barney Barnhart, Air Force; Kay Naylor, Navy; Pike Sutherland, Army; Denny Pruttis, Army; Chris Berg, Navy; Marvin Julson, Army; Dale Meier, Army; Clarence Rodman, Army; Ernest Ritts, Army Reserve; James Quackenbush, Army; and Tommy Wangsend, Army.
