Chamber has new plans for Christmas Stroll

To avoid the Christmas Crunch felt this time of year, the Conrad Area Chamber of Commerce is once again offering a Week of Holiday Wonders for the annual Christmas Stroll.

The CofC will be purchasing gift certificates from businesses participating in the Christmas Stroll to put on the Chamber Tree.

Beginning Nov. 26 will be the Warm Up To Winter bonfire on the city lot at 6 p.m. This addition to the Stroll will warm you up to the thought of winter approaching.

Nov. 30 you will feel the spirit of the season as Santa leads the Christmas Cardboard Parade, starting at 6 p.m. to the Tree Lighting Ceremony with the Invocation being delivered following the parade.

Following the Invocation and lighting of the Christmas Tree at the courthouse, Santa will go to Stockman Bank to take Holiday wishes from young people.

Greeting you in one central location will be arts/craft vendors and the most awaited activity of the week, the Live Christmas Tree/Wreath Auction held in the G&D Hardware building (old Fleet Store).

“We are hoping that there will be lots going on every day and night to draw people out and about, so let’s get creative and work together to make this year’s Week of Holiday Wonders a success for all,” says Killion.
