Taking it over the top one window at a time is exactly what Ginny Winters, owner of A’ La Mode Shop at Home Window Designs does.

The home business for quality window treatments gives homeowners a chance to vamp up the look of their home with character and special details that Winters specializes in.

She said, “I run the business myself, bringing samples and ideas with my tape measure to customer’s homes.”

She also does installation herself, whether it is blinds, vertical shades or roller shades, and she has a large variety of designs and colors to choose from.

“I bring quality window treatments to your home at an exceptionally competitive price, help you pick out what you’ll love with a wonderful selection that includes wood blinds, verticals, shades, including pleated cellular and roller shades and woven woods.” Winters said.

Winters also has plenty of samples from which to choose.

She said the advantages to purchasing through A’ La Mode outweigh shopping anywhere else. “Buying or picking out window treatments if you live in Conrad just became easier with A’ La Mode. You don’t have to pay high shipping costs, and since I do the measuring and installing myself, I take full responsibility if something is wrong, I make it right.”

Winters says she really enjoys her work.  “I love helping people decorate and spruce up their home and love the products I offer.”

She added, “The company I use has beautiful products and fantastic top-of-the-line quality at exceptional prices.”

Another convenience of working with Winters and A’ La Mode is not having to travel anywhere.

She said, “I’m right here in Conrad and will travel. You don’t have to wait or pay for someone from Great Falls to drive up, charge you mileage, extra shipping and after all that, still not have the tremendous selection I offer.”

She added, “I’ve also seen a lot of mistakes people make in measuring leaving them basically stuck with blinds that do not look like they fit the window.”

In addition to her business, Winters also volunteers at the Conrad animal pound and helps coordinate adoptions across the state.  She is also an at-home medical and psychiatric transcriptionist and she and her husband have the new cleaning contract with the state for the new rest area.

Winters and her husband have lived in Conrad for more than seven years, and have three adult children and one grandson.
