PMC to run educational series

With the New Year here, Pondera Medical Center (PMC) is going to have a new public service.

Once a month PMC will have an educational/informational series on the third Thursday.

Their first meeting will be on Jan 17, from 6:30-8 p.m. in the PMC Conference room which is downstairs.

Lisa Hanson, Director of Marketing, Business Development and Diagnostic Services says, “We will be introducing our new ‘Dementia Coordinator’, Jana Judisch, as well as discussing the purpose of Extended Care and the Special Care Unit.”

Hanson went on to add, “There are many times when there is a misconception about Extended Care or commonly known as the “nursing home.” You don’t have to have a resident currently at the PMC-EC/SCU, just have an interest in learning about our elderly population and their needs as well as learning more about our services.”
