The District 10-C girls and boys basketball tournament will be held on Feb. 13-16, 2011 at the Conrad High School Gymnasium.
It will kick off Wednesday with three girls games starting at 4 p.m. The boys side of the tournament starts Thursday evening, with their three opening round games.
There will be girls and boys loser-out contests Friday morning at 10 and 11:30 a.m. Semifinal play begins Friday afternoon at 3-4:30 p.m. with two girls’ games followed by two boys games, tentatively scheduled for 6-7:30 p.m.
Saturday morning marathon basketball starts at 8-9:30 a.m. with two girls loser out games followed by two boys loser out games at 11 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. The girls consolation game will be played at 4 p.m. with the boys game to follow at 5:30 p.m. The girls championship is tentatively scheduled to start at 7 p.m. and the boys game has a scheduled start time of 8:30 p.m. but this is likely to start late says tournament manager Tim Tharp.
Two girls and two boys teams advance from the 10-C to the Northern C Divisional girls and boys basketball tournament to be held at the Four Seasons Arena in Great Falls on Feb. 20-23.
If a district challenge game is needed, it will be played Monday night at 6:30 p.m. If there are two challenge games, they will be played Monday night at 6-7:30 p.m.
Gates will open approximately one (1) hour in advance of each scheduled session.
All-session passes will be available for $30.00 each at all 10C member schools or Conrad High School prior to the start of the tournament. “It should be noted that this is $16 less than it would cost if you bought an individual ticket for all of the sessions,” commented Tharp.
Fans are strongly encouraged to purchase all-session passes at their 10-C High School office or at the gate. Individual session ticket prices are $8 each, with the exception of the two games comprising the Friday morning loser out session (session three) where the admission will be $6. These tickets will be available at member schools from Feb. 5-13.
