Area 4-H shooters compete

On Sunday, 35 4-H members from the Four County Marias Fair area competed for top honors at the Marias Fair Air Rifle & Air Pistol Tournament.

Top 3-Position Air Rifle Shooter was Ben Rogers, Toole County who earned 247 points (out of 300). 

Top Air Pistol Shooter was Landon Omdahl, Toole County, who earned 322 points (out of 400).

The top Pondera County shooters included in Air Rifle:  9-10 years old, Riley Larson, 1st place; 11-12 years old, Dania Jones, 2nd place; and Clint Judisch; third place, and 15 years old and over, Morgan Fowler, 1st place.
Top Air Pistol Shooters included:  11-12 years old Jones 2nd place, Casey Burrows 3rd place; 15 years old and over Jenna Rodriguez, 2nd place. 

Air rifle 3-Standing targets:  11-12 years old, Dania Jones 2nd place.  Other Pondera County  4-H members who competed included:  Daniel Habets, Kenneth Habets and Naomi Yeager.

Hosts for this year’s Marias Fair Tournament were the Toole and Glacier County 4-H shooters.  The Pondera 4-H Leaders also assisted with building set up.
