Accident claims lives

A one vehicle rollover accident on Ledger Road claimed the lives of three people and sent two others to Benefis Hospital on Friday afternoon, a little after 5 p.m.

A 2012 Ford pickup truck, apparently drifted off of Ledger Road and launched off the roadway.

When the vehicle landed, it rolled several times, ejecting three of the people.

One of the three ejected is still alive.

Montana Highway Patrol Sgt. Robert Bender reported that no one was wearing seatbelts.

He indicated that speed was a factor, and there is an investigation to determine whether alcohol or drugs were factors in the accident.

The two females, both juveniles’,  were transported to the hospital. One was listed in critical condition and the other in serious condition, noted a Benefis spokesperson.

The PCSO, on Saturday, released the names of the three individuals killed in the wreck.

Joseph Galloway, age 23, was from Columbia Falls. Heather Scott Stocker, age 30, was originally from Calgary, Alberta, Canada and April Lanterman, age 41, of Conrad.
